This advanced certificate qualifies you to teach teacher trainings and certify others as well prepare you to teach retreats and advanced workshops nationally or internationally.

Open to all teachers from all yogic backgrounds with a 200 hour teacher training certificate.

Based on the Yogic concepts of Abyasa and Vairagya ( practice and surrender), we will focus on cultivating courage as a teacher to step out of your comfort zone and explore teaching and practicing new and advanced poses, sequencing, hands-on assists, mantras/chanting and Yoga philosophy while trusting in the simplicity and heartfelt grace of the practice and space for surrender through Yogi Nidra training, sacred scripture and meditation techniques. Jasmine Tarkeshi and her team of expert and visiting teachers will bring the wisdom from their years of personal practice, study and teaching to facilitate a space for inquiry, inspiration and initiation into becoming a more confident and compassionate teacher as you deepen your devotion to your personal Sadhana and Reignite your passion for your practice and teaching!

For anyone with a 200 hour yoga teaching certificate looking to complete their 300 hours - join us for our transformative training, only at Lotusland!

Our 300 Hour weekend Advanced Teacher Training will focus on cultivating trust in your voice as a teacher, teaching weekly classes at the center and step out of your comfort zone, exploring teaching and practicing new and advanced poses, sequencing, Anatomy and Alignment, hands-on assists, sanskrit/mantras/chanting and Yoga philosophy including the review of Bhagavad Gita and The Yoga Sutras including the 3rd and 4th chapters, The Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Upanishads - Tantra, Karma, Jnana and Bhakti Yoga - Level 2 Ayurveda and Trauma Informed Teaching and so much more. You will be guided in teaching workshops
on specialty subjects, leading retreats along, being able to teach teachers in training and creating recorded content and marketing.

We've combined our infamous 50-hour trainings into a 300 hour weekend format including an apprenticeship program teaching during the week with 1:1 mentorship.

How does the Lotusland teacher training program stand out?

You’ll learn not only yogic tradition and history, postures and alignment, but also how to live your yoga, and apply your new skills in the modern world with devotion to a higher purpose.

Who can join the 300-hour training?

The training is open to teachers from all yogic backgrounds who hold a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate.

What certification will I receive?

This is a Yoga Alliance Registered 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training. Combined with your 200-hour training, you will be 500-hour certified by 2028. The advanced certificate qualifies you to lead teacher trainings and certify others, and prepares you to teach retreats and advanced workshops nationally or internationally.

When and where does it take place?

The training runs on weekends from September 10th - December 19th, 2027 at the Lotusland Yoga Community Center, 1360 Valencia Street in San Francisco, with weekly teaching and mentoring at the studio during the week.

How much does it cost?

Tuition is $3,800 and includes the apprenticeship. Early Early Bird pricing is $3,000 by May 1st, 2027, and Early Bird pricing is $3,500 by July 1st, 2027. Lotusland members receive 10-20% off.

Are scholarships available?

Yes. We offer four 50% BIPOC scholarships and four 25% work-trade positions.

What will I study?

The curriculum includes the art of sequencing and transitions, teaching advanced poses, hands-on assists, teaching Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda 102, Trauma Informed and Inclusive Teaching 102, Yoga and Social Justice, Sanskrit, chanting and basic harmonium, sound healing, and sacred texts including the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Upanishads.

Is there an apprenticeship?

Yes, it is included in tuition. You will teach during the week with 1:1 mentorship, so you are ready to teach Lotus Flow on the Lotusland schedule and around town.

How big is the group?
