The word “Ayurveda” is derived from two words in Sanskrit, “ayuh” meaning “life” or “longevity” and “veda” meaning “science” or “sacred knowledge.” Ayurveda's definition can translate as “the sacred knowledge of life.” During such terrifying times where politics are destroying our planet, turning towards ancient healing rituals are the healing salves we need to empower ourselves and to share with our families and communities. The Sanskrit word for health, svastha, is a state in which the mind, soul, and senses interact harmoniously to experience a feeling of Self, wellness, and even bliss. Achieving this may seem like a hard to reach goal, but Ayurveda provides a treasure chest of elegant and insightful tools to help us get there. At its root, Ayurveda is an ancient holistic tradition born in India 5000 years ago, and way of living that can help each of us to claim and celebrate our capacity for wellness. You will learn to adapt your daily practice to the gifts of the seasons, the planet of the day, times of the day as recipes to dance with the doshas to incorporate into your life and guide others towards more ease.
Ayurveda blesses us with ancient wisdom that asks us to take responsibility for our health through our daily choices as Sadhana, spiritual practice. In this intensive, we will focus on the Ayurvedic Principles for sequencing Asana, Pranayama, Mantra and meditation choices through the element of the chakras to better guide our routines both daily (dinacharya) and seasonally (ritucharya). We will be diving deeply into the theory and practice of the dance, devotion and discipline of Lotus Flow Vinyasa as a creative process on how to move, breathe and ground ourselves into union with the universe to experience more freedom.
Please Note: This is not an academic study of Ayurveda, or a personal dosha diagnosis or herbal medicine and will focus mainly on Asana and Ayurveda and touch on diet choices for the dosha of the season.

Sanskrit is the language of Yoga's foundational texts, mantras (incantations/magical formulas), and āsana names, precisely expressing the esoteric concepts of Yoga practice.
In this workshop you will learn the sounds of each letter, become familiar with Devanāgarī (the written alphabet), and chant common mantras with confidence and precision, exploring both vibration and meaning. For the serious yoga student, yoga teachers, and the merely curious, this workshop will stoke the fires of learning, and help participants establish a personal Sanskrit practice. By the end, you will be able to read basic Sanskrit words.
Amanda studies Sanskrit with her teacher Kiranavali Devi, at the Yoga Society of San Francisco Śrī Brahmananda Ashram. She is an advanced certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher, teaching since 2000 in both New York City and at San Francisco's beloved Lotusland studio.

Jasmine will guide a healing and creative journey of living, practicing, and teaching through the lens of Tantra Yoga in this 5-day 25-hour Teacher Training at Soul Tribe in Batemans Bay, Australia.
You’ll learn the beautiful and often misunderstood teachings of Tantra Yoga — wisdom that invites us to live, practice, and teach in deep intimacy with nature and our own true nature.
In Sanskrit, Tantra means “weaving” or “interconnection,” from the root tan, meaning “to extend” or “expand.” One of yoga’s most ancient paths, Tantra is a system of ritual, practice, art, and healing that awakens śakti (dormant creative energy). These timeless teachings remind us how to heal our relationship with our bodies, senses, each other, and the world.
At its heart, Tantra asks us to see the sacred in the everyday — to transcend dualities such as body and spirit, dark and light, mundane and holy — and to embrace the fullness of life as a path toward freedom, creativity, and well-being.
This immersion is perfect for yoga teachers seeking fresh inspiration, and for dedicated practitioners wanting to dive deeper into the joy, wisdom, and freedom of Tantra Yoga.
Come away with a renewed connection to your practice, your teaching, and your life — inspired, empowered, and grounded in the sacredness of everyday living.
