Lotus Yin - Thursdays 4pm
Sophie received her 200RYT through Lotusland Yoga and has since completed advanced 20-hour trainings on yin yoga, restorative, and hands-on assists.
She has a yin and Vinyasa-style yoga practice that is deeply inspired by the landscapes, ecosystems, and seasonal biorhythms of the Bay Area. In her Vinyasa classes, you might flow like a kelp forest, ground down like a redwood tree, or relax like a honeybee in a pollen-crusted flower.
In her yin classes, you may connect with the dream space, release control, and cultivate a loving acceptance for the present moment. Sophie believes slowing down to be mindful in our movement can deepen our relationships and care for the cosmos, community, and self.
