Kat views yoga as a personal love letter to the body — a practice of curiosity, care, and connection. As an autistic teacher living with chronic illness, she is deeply committed to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where every body, mind, and experience is honored. Her classes center on accessibility and are guided with gentleness, presence, and a touch of magic.
Kat teaches Kids Yoga, Gentle Flow, and Restorative Yoga, weaving mindfulness, creative expression, and conscious movement into each class. Whether she’s guiding children through imaginative stories or adults through grounding breathwork, Kat meets students where they are, inviting them to move at their own pace and discover the power of listening inward.
She has been practicing yoga since high school in 2007, but her practice truly expanded when she discovered how to adapt it in a way that supported her neurodivergence and chronic illness (endometriosis). Yoga and breathwork have become essential tools in navigating her “new normal,” helping her build confidence, reconnect with her body, and feel less defeated. She’s a passionate student of Ayurveda, plant medicine, and inner child healing work — always learning and integrating what she discovers into her teaching.
Kat completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in San Francisco in 2018 and most recently completed Lotusland’s 200-hour training in spring 2024. She also teaches at Tendwell Collective, offering Gentle Flow classes at the San Francisco Public Library.
A lifelong learner, Kat loves traveling and attending yoga retreats to deepen her own practice. She brings these experiences home with her — enriching her classes with new insights, playful tools, and inspiration to uplift her community.
