Cyrus’ class offers time to move with the breath still cultivating heat in a slow flow and will take you into a deeper restorative class towards the end. In the class you will develop breath work, movement, and meditation that will help you wind down the day and prepare for rest into the evening. He will maintain a warm presence in the studio that will help melt away any stress or tension from your day with his class.
Cyrus is Persian-American born and raised in the Bay Area and has lived in San Francisco since 2020. He discovered yoga in college during a health psychology class, but started practicing seriously during the COVID-19 pandemic. His practice became a way to take a pause from everything happening in the world and ground him into his body and soul. It was yoga that had created his practice of unapologetically taking care of the self and then relating that back to the world with gratitude for the present moment.
Cyrus had graduated his 200hr YTT from HAUM Studio in 2024 and began teaching at the start of this year after transitioning out of a full-time job to begin his journey as a holistic healer in Yoga and Psychology. He will be pursuing a Graduate degree in Counseling Psychology in the fall of 2026 to eventually become a Licensed Therapist.
Cyrus’ favorite activity in the city is finding a new part of the city to explore, starting at a coffee shop for coffee and a treat of course. His favorite pose is Natarajasana (Dancer Pose).
