Juhie Kothari

Yoga with Juhie is rooted in traditional Indian yogic lineage and formal training undertaken in India.

Juhie Kothari is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher who has studied and practised yoga in its classical form, with a deep emphasis on alignment, pranayama, and disciplined, long-term practice rather than trend-driven movement. She is a firm believer in dynamic and passive yoga practices complementing each other, a philosophy that clearly reflects in her teaching.

Juhie has completed her certifications from The Yoga Institute, Mumbai (200 hours) and Indea Yoga, Mysore (500 hours). Her classes integrate Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yin Yoga, meditation, and Yoga Nidra, emphasising the interconnectedness of mind and body. Her teachings not only help students open and strengthen the body but also cultivate mental stability, nervous-system regulation, and deep relaxation.

With 8+ years of teaching and practice, Juhie has taught consistently both offline and online across various studios, offering private and group sessions, and has touched over 4,000 lives through her work. She has taught group classes at well-known yoga studios in Mumbai such as Movement Sanctuary and The Yoga House, and has conducted corporate wellness workshops across cities for organisations including WeWork and The Future Group.

According to her students, “Juhie is a calm, encouraging teacher who brings something new to every class. Her restorative poses and Yoga Nidra sessions are especially rejuvenating and help prepare the body for challenging asanas.”

Her work and insights on yoga have been featured in Hindustan Times and on the NDTV health portal, underscoring her standing within the field. Currently, Juhie is developing her YouTube channel, collaborating with doctors and health experts to spread awareness around mental health, gut health, and sustainable lifestyle changes. She has collaborated with experts such as Dr Trishala Chopra, Dr Roshani Sanghani, and Prerna Gupta for educational talks and conversations.

Juhie’s teaching preserves the rigour of classical yoga while making it deeply relevant to modern life, focused on strength, resilience, relaxation, and longevity. This is lineage-driven yoga, taught with clarity, care, and intention.
