Jennifer Lewis has been teaching yoga since 2001 after she earned her 200-hour RYT at Its Yoga in San Francisco. By focusing on breath, form, and flow, her classes transform into a moving meditation. Her warmth and attention to alignment create an engaging practice where students feel safe to explore, play, and grow. Jennifer usually plays upbeat ambient music such as Aphex Twins, Brian Eno, or Philip Glass. She considers her teachers to be Devorah Sachs, Charu Rachlis, and Jasmine Tarkeshi.
When not on the mat, Jennifer can be found around town promoting her short story collection,The New Low, or teaching creative writing at The Writing Salon.
