200-hour
Her warmth and attention to alignment create an engaging practice where students feel safe to explore, play, and grow.
Jennifer Lewis has been teaching yoga since 2001 after she earned her 200-hour RYT at Its Yoga in San Francisco. By focusing on breath, form, and flow, her classes transform into a moving meditation. Her warmth and attention to alignment create an engaging practice where students feel safe to explore, play, and grow. Jennifer usually plays upbeat ambient music such as Aphex Twins, Brian Eno, or Philip Glass. She considers her teachers to be Devorah Sachs, Charu Rachlis, and Jasmine Tarkeshi.
When not on the mat, Jennifer can be found at The Assembly, writing short stories; or at PianoFight, producing her reading series, Red Light Lit; or in her minivan listening to Sam Harris’s podcast, Making Sense, as she drives her three children around town! She is excited to be part of the Laughing Lotus community so she can share her love for yoga with others.
