Welcome to Lotusland Apprenticeship Program! The doorway to teaching at Lotusland and taking the next step on your teaching journey.

Lotusland Yoga SF offers a 1 Month (4 Week) Program for graduates of 200 & 300 Hour Yoga Schools from Lotusland or any other School.

As a graduate, you are offered an intensive learning opportunity with a Lotusland senior teacher. This is a space for you to immerse yourself in the Lotusland teaching style, under the guidance of an experienced Lotusland senior teacher. You will supported in dharma talks, class planning, sequencing, hands-on assisting, alignment cues and any other way you desire support on your path.

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM COMMITMENTS

REQUIREMENTS:

Open to graduates of 200 & 300hr Yoga Schools of any Yoga Teacher Trainings.

You will meet with your mentor and discuss your desires and co-create a program based on your goals.

1.)Apprentices are assigned to teach one Community Class a week

- A written Class plan for the class will be submitted to the teacher at least 2 days prior to the class for feedback before the class
- The teacher will attend the Community Class and then offer feed back and suggestions for the next class including hands on assists, dharma talk suggestions, sequencing, teaching skills with voice, alignment cues or any where else support is needed or requested by the apprentice.
- Arrive 15 minutes before class starts to check in
- Help set up the room & greet students;

2) Attend and assist one (1) weekly class with their mentor.

- The Apprentice will be briefed on the class intention by their mentor and provid any information relevant to the Apprentices role as a class assistant:
Ie; Helping set up the room the class offering props to students, signing the class, offering mantra sheets
- Post-class the Apprentice & Mentor will debrief the class. This session is to be a 5-minute check-in.

After the 4 weeks, you will discuss extra weeks with your mentor if needed. If you both feel you are ready, you will start teaching regular community classes without a mentor and subbing regular classes on the schedule before being offered your own class!

PROGRAM FEE:

Pay in Full = $400 or $100 per week directly

*Program Fee includes unlimited class access at Lotusland Yoga SF for the duration of the program and 20% off all workshops and Trainings
{all apprentices are required to attend a minimum of one class a week}
