Egemen Sanli

Egemen (Ege) is a modern dervish carrying the flag of his sufi roots as he shares his unique voice in yoga and music with the world.

Ege’s yoga journey started in New York City where he played live sitar in yoga studios. After moving to SF, he dove into asana and pranayama, finishing his 200hr yoga teacher certification at Yoga Tree in the summer of 2016 and studying further with Annie Carpenter towards a SmartFLOW certification. As a lifelong student of rhythm and vibration, Ege loves mindful movement and flow with a focus on breath and alignment. Ege teaches all-levels vinyasa weekly at Google and subs a variety of classes at Laughing Lotus. He also shares his healing, improvisational world music regularly in yoga classes around the Bay Area.
